Ongoing Maintenance
The fertility clinic required planting that softened its clinical environment while maintaining a refined and professional aesthetic. The objective was to enhance patient comfort, reduce stress and support staff wellbeing throughout the space. Tropical Plant Rentals developed a biophilic planting strategy aligned with healthcare design principles and WELL-informed environments, integrating greenery into waiting areas and consultation spaces as part of the patient journey. As Queensland Fertility Group continues to expand its network, Tropical Plant Rentals is growing alongside them, supported by a national service team able to deliver consistent planting solutions and maintenance standards across multiple locations.
Approximately sixty resilient plant installations were introduced throughout the clinic including Happy Plant, Janet Craig, Ficus Lyrata, Zamioculcas, Dracaena deremensis, Ficus Burgundy, Rhapis Palm, trailing Pothos, Parlour Palm and Aglaonema. Larger specimen plants anchor corners and consultation rooms while integrated planter boxes behind seating provide subtle spatial definition and visual softness. Species were selected for durability, low-light tolerance and suitability for conditioned healthcare interiors while complementing the calm material palette of the clinic.
Installation was delivered with careful coordination to meet healthcare operational and infection-control requirements. Plants were positioned to enhance privacy and support circulation flow while integrating seamlessly with architectural finishes. Works were completed after hours to minimise disruption to clinic operations.
The planting scheme enhances patient comfort and reduces perceived clinical stress while supporting staff wellbeing. The environment feels calmer and more restorative, aligning with the clinic’s focus on compassionate patient care.
Ongoing professional maintenance delivered by specialist plant technicians ensures plant health, hygiene compliance and consistent presentation within the clinical environment.
